Today’s session with Laura and Scott was the kind of stuff that makes a photographer love his work. I have not done extensive work with snowy background before, at least when it comes to creative portraits but working with these two, I felt like I’ve hardly ever shot in any other conditions. Thanks again guys for putting up with the cold!

I’ll have more of them up very soon, but for now, here’s a little preview.

In the past week I had the opportunity to shoot two awesome concerts, one of them being the Rock for Cancer event at The Gig Theatre in downtown Kitchener and the other was the ILLUMINATE Christmas event at Forward Baptist Church in Cambridge. I have a few previews of both events below. Enjoy!

The other day we finally started getting snow. This always gets me very excited because I get to practice taking pictures with beautiful white backdrops that act like a natural reflector. So today as I went out into town, I asked my friend Ashley to let me take some portraits of her.

I got news that there is an opportunity for me to donate a portrait session to be used within a bidding that is taking place at Grandview Baptist Church, Sunday December 6th 2009 in order to raise money for their Uganda Mission.

The session I am donating is in value of $150 and I would like to invite you all to join in the bidding. I will not get paid for this, all the money will go and be useful way over on the African continent helping people over there have better lives!

I also want to take this chance to thanks Juan, Mike, Dave and Meghan who have been most awesome models for me in 2009! Thank you and may your beauty inspire people to give and help!
