Easter is around the corner and I had the chance to document one of the best productions in the area done on that topic; The Passion at Forward Church in Cambridge, Ontario, where under the leadership of their worship pastor, and good friend of mine, Gary Sharpe, the gospel comes to life in a superb feat of acting and live music embodying the life changing message of Jesus Christ.

Summary
The Passion is an original, full scale musical production telling the Easter story in a fresh and relevant way. Following the story of Mary, Martha and Lazarus and their friendship with Jesus, The Passion is a story of redemption and of hope; a story which is still unfolding today.
The Passion is a uniquely Canadian production with a script written and directed by Canadian actor and director, Christy Ziss, original songs by Canadian artists, Gary Sharpe and Matt Maher, and new orchestral arrangements by Sabatino Vacca, Conductor of the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra. The set was designed by Jeff Johnston Collins of Drayton Entertainment. The cast, crew and hundreds of behind-the-scenes volunteers are from Forward Church, with locations in Cambridge, Guelph and Kitchener.
“The Passion is a truly collective effort and is intended as a gift to our community.” – Steve Adams, Lead Pastor, Forward Church
