Vector graphics are quite the fascinating topic to me. If you don’t know what they are, they are images where the shapes and colours are described as mathematical formulae rather than the image containing a finite set of pixels with Red, Green and Blue values each. This enables one to scale the image up and down to almost any size without detail loss.
Recently I was working on turning the logo that I made for the Photographing Consciously Workshop into a vector file by tracing the PNG file using Inkscape. I ran into some colour related issues and after many days of figuring out the solution I finally reached a satisfactory outcome. So I thought I’d share the process.
